To make a police report, it’s advisable if both parties do it right away after the accident. Reminder: There’s no necessary to take down the other party’s name or IC number. However, get his contact number and car registration number will do. Take picture if possible.
If the other party cannot go to make police report with you, then he will have to do it within 24 hours after the accident. Failing to do which, police officer has rights to issue summon to him.

4) If no problem, counter sign on the report and take note of the IO/ AIO, which is the ID number of the police officer/ Sarjan who going to take duty and start investigation on said case. Because with this reference ID, you know who you can refer to for further follow-up.
