Internet Explorer – How to block website

After FireFox, today we will be talking about how to block website(s) under Internet Explorer.

Here are the simple steps of 3:

1) Open the browser tools or Internet Explorer, click on the “Tools” tab follow by “Internet Options”.

2) Click to enable [Content Advisor]. Once the “Internet Options” tab is opened, click on “Content” follow by “Enable” appear under the “Content Advisor.”

3) Disable the website. From the “Content Advisor”, click on “Approved Sites” and enter the website you wish to block. Check on “Never” tab and submit the change by adding password to protect it.

Tips:

>The below step is very important where you need to check on the rating, otherwise one may not able to browse any website due to this rating issue.

Firefox – How to block website

Worry about your kids or other user to visit porn or sex websites and attract virus?

Worry no more, and this time is for Mozilla Firefox user. It’s all from BlockSite!

Here are the steps on how to prevent it from happening:

1) Open Firefox, click “Tools” then “Add-ons.” Click “Get Add-ons” and then “Browse All Add-ons.” Type “blocksite” in the search bar after the Mozilla Firefox add-ons website opens and hit “Enter.”

2) Click the “Add to Firefox” button next to the entry for BlockSite. Allow the add-on to load (usually less than 5 seconds), then click the “Install Now” button. Restart Firefox when prompted.

3) Go to “Tools,” then “Add-ons,” then click the BlockSite “Preferences” button after Firefox restarts. Make sure the “Blacklist” radio button is ticked, as well as “Enable BlockSite,” “Enable warning messages,” and “Enable link removal.”

4) Check “Enable authentication,” then enter a password if you would like to keep other users from deleting blocked websites or changing the settings in BlockSite without your permission.

5) Click the “Add” button, enter the URL of the website you would like to block, then click “OK.” Repeat to add more sites, or click the “Clear” button to delete the list. Once the list of blocked sites is complete, click “OK” and restart Firefox. It’s done!
